One of the age old debates of elections is whether the
American populace is intelligent enough and sufficiently informed on public
policy issues to make an informed decision regarding which candidate is best
suited for political office. Answer the following questions:
1.Are voters, on average, qualified to decide who should
serve in elected office? Why or why not? 2.What actions could be taken to
better inform the American electorate as to which candidate is more qualified?
3.Is it feasible to initiate these actions? Would they be effective? Your
